Questions
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. Sumi is a theme app block, so it drops into any Online Store 2.0 theme from the theme editor and inherits your fonts. You tune colours, layout and spacing in Sumi’s design editor. If your theme is older, Sumi also creates a standalone bundle page you can link to.
How do bundles show up in orders and fulfilment?
As the real products. Sumi uses Shopify’s cart transform function to merge the chosen items into a bundle line at checkout, while each component keeps its SKU and inventory. Your fulfilment app or 3PL sees exactly what to pick.
Can customers choose variants, like size or colour?
Yes. Show variant pickers right in the grid as pills or dropdowns, or on a product details view. Sold‑out variants can be shown as sold out or hidden entirely.
What kinds of discounts can I offer?
Percentage off, a fixed amount off, or a fixed price for the whole bundle. Add tiers so the discount grows with quantity or spend, and scope discounts to the bundle or to individual steps. Or offer no discount at all and use Sumi purely as a build‑a‑box experience.
Does it slow my store down?
No. The block is a small script that loads only on pages where you place it, and the admin side runs on Sumi’s servers. It meets the performance requirements of Shopify’s Built for Shopify programme.
Is there a free plan?
There’s a 14‑day free trial with everything included. After that it’s $24 a month, billed by Shopify alongside your subscription.
